Overview
Telehealth is a growing care modality in healthcare. It can improve access while decreasing costs and expenditures. Telehealth is applicable to a wide range of healthcare services, particularly in rural areas where time, distance, and transportation barriers may separate people from needed services.
This module addresses how telehealth technologies can improve healthcare and the potential benefits and limitations of telehealth are discussed with a focus on rural communities.
