Naloxone Administration

Overview

This module defines the use for Naloxone (Narcan); identifies resources to obtain Narcan and additional training; describes Colorado law regarding obtaining and administration of Narcan.

Stacie Schreiner DNP, FNP-BC is an Associate Professor of Nursing at Colorado Mesa University where she is the Rural Health Coordinator. She also is an Instructor for the CU School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics-Section of Nutrition, and specializes in pediatric obesity.  Her clinical practice is at Children’s Hospital Colorado in the subspecialty of Lifestyle Medicine.
